Solstice

For this Fall-Winter 2022 campaign, Eva Gaumé, Artistic Director, recounts a moment suspended in time and takes us on a journey outside the city to a place dear to her. In the heart of the French countryside, two hours from Lyon where she grew up, Sephos is an intimate place that has hosted precious moments in her life; teenage weekends spent reading to combat boredom and happy celebrations have imprinted this timeless place.

This space of freedom and breathing space welcomes a collection more refined than ever, and marks the return of the Maison's jewelry monogram. A contrast that reveals the ambivalence embodied by Eva's contemporary creation at the heart of the current collection: a femininity that is strong and sensitive, natural and sophisticated, everyday and ostentatious, classic and colorful.

An ambivalence like a solstice, this day of change into winter or summer, this shortest or longest day.

“I like to cultivate this very emotional connection with the House, in the image as well as in the collections. This idea of the female collector, from yesterday and today, is built a little more each season. I was keen to resurrect the EK monogram of the House's vintage frames in a contemporary vision. The excess of the logo marks a femininity that is assumed, precious and versatile, and becomes more than a symbol, a sign of belonging.” - Eva Gaumé

Directed by James Tennessee Briandt, SOLSTICE is part of an ongoing artistic collaboration highlighting the new creative momentum of Maison Emmanuelle Khanh with Anamaria, this season's muse.
