care

Emmanuelle Khanh frames are crafted by hand, with carefully chosen materials.

Our wish is for you to keep your frames in the most pristine condition for as long as possible.

Cleaning frames is an act of care

Skincare, makeup, or sebum can build up on your frames. Clean the contact areas (nose pads, temples, hinges) regularly to preserve the materials—and your skin. In order to maintain the beauty of your frames, gently use the clean, dry microfiber cloth provided. For deeper cleaning, use lukewarm water and a drop of mild soap. Avoid harsh cleaners that can damage lens coatings and dull the acetate.

The lenses

In the quest of excellence, Emmanuelle Khanh equips its frames with first-class 100% UVA/UVB protective lenses. Even with anti-reflective or scratch-resistant coatings, lenses remain sensitive. Avoid dry-wiping them when very dusty, as tiny particles can leave scratches, so always rinse before cleaning. And remember: never rest your glasses lens-side down.

Metal parts: discreet, but essential

The metal components of your eyewear—hinges, screws, nose pads, or decorative elements—are carefully chosen for durability, aesthetics, and skin compatibility. However, like all metals in frequent contact with the skin, they may show slight oxidation over time, especially when exposed to moisture. Regular gentle cleaning helps prevent this. Use a dry or slightly damp cloth—never harsh products. All components comply with European regulations and are dermatologically tested to ensure safe everyday wear.

Adjustments matter over time

Extreme heat can warp acetate; cold can make it brittle. Avoid dashboards in Summer and coat pockets in Winter. Temples may also loosen slightly with wear. Drop by your optician’s for a quick adjustment. A proper fit means comfort and longevity.

Storing

Always in their case, never loose in a bag. In order to guarantee the durability of your frames, store them in their case when you are not wearing them and in a mild, dry place.
