Juliette Armanet X EMMANUELLE KHANH

Emmanuelle Khanh invites Juliette Armanet to collaborate on her favourite silhouette by the House in an exclusive limited edition. To communicate this partnership, Philippe Jarrigeon has created a hyper-cinematic triptych editorial in which Juliette Armanet is the heroine. In the trio of piquant and offbeat situations, Juliette is in turn a race car driver at the wheel of her Corvette, a nostalgic spy in the style of an Almodovar film, and a glamorous diva in her sensual soapy bubble bath scene.

Juliette Armanet designed this pair of sunglasses as the most glamorous object, a combination of huge smoked blue lenses and a slightly oversized frame in ivory white acetate. A retro-glam pair of sunglasses, inspired as much by iconic French music stars such as Michel Polnareff and Christophe, as well as the great disco stars and style of the 70’s and 80s, a time of great success for the designer Emmanuelle Khanh herself. Obviously, this sunglass is to be worn both day and night... The zig-zag branch (the House'signature) is accompanied by a golden chain, which gives it an extra retro glamour and sensual look. In keeping with the avant-garde heritage of Emmanuelle Khanh, the frames are handmade in the historic French region of hand-crafted traditional eyewear production. Glasses that are born in the hands of the craftsmen who shape them and live on the faces of the personalities who wear them.

This heartfelt collaboration, inspired by Eva Gaumé, Emmanuelle Khanh's creative director, illustrates the House's return to the forefront of French style and culture.
