Following the success of Le Peigne, Emmanuelle Khanh and Maitrepierre return with a brand new collaboration for SS2 – La Fleur. This second chapter illustrates the unique and creative bond between Eva Gaumé and Alphonse Maitrepierre, representing a new generation of the Parisian fashion scene.
Eva Gaumé, Artistic Director of the House, continues her collaboration with Alphonse Maitrepierre for the AW23 collection, presented on the official Paris Fashion Week calendar. This collection, The Time to Listen, is inspired by the question of humanity's domination over nature. The flower is woven into this universe as a hybrid object, a human creation that transforms into a new organic essence, adorning the face.
“It’s an ode to nature and flowers: fragile and ephemeral, they become hybrid and synthetic, timeless. Collaborating with Maitrepierre is such an amazing and fluid process, I love immersing myself in his collections each season. I feel very connected to the poetry he puts into creating great pieces of dreamlike eyewear,” adds Eva Gaumé.
The Fleur collection is available in five colors: luxurious and joyful crystal hues such as electric yellow, warm purple, naive blue, deep black, and bold red. The glasses are handcrafted in limited editions in Oyonnax, the historic French center of artisanal eyewear.
